Wednesday Update at 9:20 pm
Yesterday was spent saying goodbye to some very special therapists, nurses, etc. Thank you everyone at Stallworth for your compassionate care for Heather! You are great folks, and we appreciate the serving spirits each of you display in helping others regain their health. Under the circumstances, as well as the stress, each of you helped to make our stay a very pleasant experience! May the Lord bless each of you!!!!
We were swooped into the ambulance yesterday around 3:00 pm CT and arrived at Siskin last night around 6:00 pm. They placed Heather in a room across the hall from a friend of ours who is also here at Siskin. He is here recovering from a stroke that happened after his open heart surgery. He has left sided paralysis, but is making great progress. It is nice that he and Heather can cheer each other on since they have some of the same struggles to overcome.
Today has been quite busy with getting settled, answering questions, and more questions, as well as new therapy evaluations, etc. We took a trip around the hospital and visited some old friends who took care of Heather two years ago when she had her hip replaced. She was excited to see many of them and they were all thrilled to see her as well. We can't express how blessed we feel to be back in Chattanooga! There's no place like home!!
"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." Revelation 4:11
