Thursday Update at 3:40 pm
Well, She did it!!!! Heather went to Church on Easter Sunday!!!! Praise the Lord, it was a great Sunday at Hillside Baptist Church! Our Churches shuttle bus was able to pick Heather up for Church on Sunday Morning, as well as three others who are wheelchair bound!!!! Heather was so excited to be back in Church, and wept tears of happiness most of the service. She told her Dad that the music was beautiful and the preaching was wonderful!!!! She also said it was the best she had ever heard!!!! Her spirits were uplifted greatly! We are so thankful that God sent His Son to die for the sins of the world, and that He conquered the grave and is alive and well today! What a wonderful Saviour we have, and what a wonderful hope we have of one day seeing His face in Heaven, if we have accepted Him. If you do not have that hope or peace in your heart that Jesus can only give, please read this article (http://www.godmakesnomistakes.com/#!heaven-or-hell/c1e6h) as it tells how you can receive Christ as your Saviour!
Monday was Heather's very best day of therapy as all of her therapists have stated! Each therapist attributes her great day to the fact that she was able to go to Church the day before. We thank the Lord for bringing us this far, and we can’t wait to see where He will continue to take us! Heather is gaining more movement in her right side! She has been able to initiate some steps by pulling her right leg with her muscles from her quadriceps. She has also been able to lift her leg with a little more strength while sitting. You can see that she is still using the upper leg muscles, but we are getting closer!
All of the staff here at Siskin have been wonderful! Heather is on a routine schedule with a break in-between sessions so that she can rest because she is exhausted after each session, and she also has the same team of therapists each day which helps tremendously.
We are hoping to post a NEW video of Heather soon for you to enjoy! Please be patient with us on our updates, the internet signal isn’t always the best here at the Rehab Hospital for us to update. Please forgive us for not posting sooner this week. We know you are all still very interested in Heather and her recovery.

(Hannah has cared for Heather the entire week by herself both day and night because Bro. Cape and I both came down with a bad case of the flu, and we have both ran fevers and been in bed all week. Please continue to pray for our entire family.) Hannah, you are an amazing lady and a special daughter! Thank you for being who you are!
We are finishing our 11th week in the care of Heather, but once again, the Lord has been very good to each of us!!!!!!! TOMORROW MARKS 77 DAYS OF NO SEIZURES, THANK YOU LORD!!!!!
"I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations." Psalm 89:1
This may not seem to be a nice Easter family photo,
but to us it's a beautiful sight, wheelchair lift, bus and family!
Praise The Lord, for His wonderful blessings!
Paw Paw & Maw Maw came to visit Heather today!
