Friday Update at 8:30 pm CT

Today has been another eventful day! First thing this morning, Heather was greeted with more visitors from Georgia. Her Uncle Larry, Uncle Kenny and Cousin Blake took the day off from work and school and came up. Heather had physical and occupational therapy first, then she was able to go to the Atrium to visit with her guests. She has had a wonderful day! She was able to enjoy her first donut since her surgery and she enjoyed every bite of it.

It took the entire day, but we were finally able to settle in at the Stallworth Rehab facility here in Nashville. They brought Heather over by ambulance and we didn't actually get settled in her room until about 7:00 p.m. Once we were settled in her room other guests arrived, Pastor and Mrs. Juaken Dumas from Athens, AL. We cannot express our thanks enough to everyone of you who have shown your love in some form or fashion to our sweet Heather. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, and your enthusiasm and excitement of cheering Heather on to her recovery. Our hands have been held up by the many prayers of support from each person who has prayed, and we can't Praise the Lord enough for His wonderful goodness to us!

We stand amazed at the many folks who are continuing to follow Heather's progress on this Website. We know that the Lord has an amazing plan He has been unfolding the past 21 years and only eternity will tell the impact Heather's life of suffering has had on others across the country...To God be the Glory!!!!

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; andthey shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
