About the event
The 8th Annual One Day Special Needs/Care Family Conference will be held this year at Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle, 3839 Buffat Mill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914, on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. This year, our theme is “Look to Him”, and we are seeking to help encourage individuals and families who may have a loved one that has a special need or a different ability.
This event is free to all who attend. We will also provide a free lunch. We will have several special activities for the whole family to enjoy! There will be sessions throughout the day with handouts full of helps to aid and support families. Everyone will also receive a commemorative T-shirt!
Our daughter, Heather Cape, has two rare diseases and has suffered with seizures the last 32 years of her life, and lives life with only one half of her brain.…
