Wednesday Update 8:50 pm CT
Today has been another great day!! Last night was the best night of sleep that Heather has had, Praise the Lord! Which meant that today she was able to stay awake longer and able to perform well at Therapy! They were able to stand her up with the assistance of the Stand/lift machine for the second time! She had to overcome her fear of "just doing it", but once she got to the standing position she tolerated it very well for a whole 10 minutes!!! Fear has been another issue of Heather's because she just doesn't realize what all she can do just yet. But she continues to surprise herself and all of us with what she can do and it's because we have a wonderful God and because you have been going to Him on behalf of her! Everyone here at Rehab has been wonderful to Heather! Dr. Khalil, her Neurologist was in earlier to check on her and he was pleased to see her more alert and her smiling face. We look forward to seeing Heather walk again soon! We know that the Lord has so much more in store for her life and we can't wait to see just how much more He is going to use her story to continue to help others and give Him the glory! Heather, wanted to send you a word of Thanks! She may fool you a little bit, because of how well she does on this video, but she has a long way to go. Hope your heart is blessed by what she has to say! She is a true miracle!!!
