TUESDAY- 9:30 am CT MORNING IN NASHVILLE, TN

Thank you so much to everyone who has been praying for Heather and for our family, following the updates, and sharing with others what the Lord is doing! We know the Lord has heard you, and we have felt His love!!!!

Heather had a very peaceful rest last night! She is still sedated from the surgery, and on the breathing machine. She had to have a pint of blood this morning, and we are having a little trouble keeping her blood pressure down and she has a slight fever. The plan is to pull the sedation medications down and to try and wake her today. If she can wake up enough, they hope to take her off of the ventilator some time today. If she cannot wake up enough to breathe on her own, she will remain on the vent. She has opened her eyes, and squeezed our hands, so she is aware and hearing us. As of now, she has no movement in her right arm and leg, but this is to be expected. However, she does respond with a grimace when they push on her firmly to see if she has sensation. The continuous movement in the right hand has stopped, whereas before surgery, it twitched constantly.

The next couple of days are going to be some of the hardest for her as well as the family. Your continual prayers are needed! Phil 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."Keep praying!!

God never moves without purpose or plan,

When trying His servant or molding a man.

Give thanks to the Lord, though your testing seems long;

In darkness, He giveth a song.

“O rejoice in the Lord, He makes no mistakes.

He knoweth the end of each path that I take.

For when I am tried and purified, I shall come forth as gold.”
