Tuesday Update at 8:55 pm CT

Our family has had the opportunity to share the amazing story of how God has brought Heather to this point in her life. Despite Heather having 20 years of seizing and serious health issues, now, she is living with one half of her brain, yet, she is still able to carry on a conversation. This is far too wonderful for us not to share with others!

Over the years there have been many opportunities that the Lord has given us to be able to witness about Him to medical staff, support staff, patients and their families. Early this morning, Heather and I had another one of those opportunities as we talked to her nurse about the goodness of God and His watch care over my sister. As we both talked to her, we noticed the Lord was again using Heather’s story to speak to her. Within a few minutes into our conversation we spoke of how wonderful our Saviour is and how the Lord allows our path to cross the paths of those who may not know Him. Praise the Lord, this dear sweet lady prayed and accepted Christ as Saviour!

Many other seeds have been planted, and we know the Lord is working on hearts!!!!! This afternoon my Dad brought my Mom back up to Nashville, and he and I are going back home to Chattanooga. He had to step out of the room for a little bit while we were helping Heather, and outside her room is an activity area for patients to go and sit at tables and do puzzles, games, etc. He was out there doing some work on his iPad, and he met a gentleman whose wife just had a liver transplant. My Dad was able to share with Him about the Lord, and He, too, accepted Christ!

Heather has had a great day! She was able to handle the three hours scheduled for therapy. They stood her up with a machine, and it was very painful for her, but she did it. Her doctor was in and we discussed possibly weening her off of the beta blocker slowly. Still battling tiredness, restlessness, as well as hypersensitivity. She has had some hurting in her stomach and was running a low grade fever earlier. She really enjoyed being able to talk with the nurse in the wee hours of the morning, though!

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;..." Romans 1:16
